My journey so far

I discovered online work in 2011 and have been helping businesses remotely for more than 14 years. My first gig was assisting in planning USAID projects. I then landed a couple of virtual assistant jobs, became the operations manager at an Australian digital marketing agency, and eventually formed my own team of virtual assistants.

In 2016, I caught the digital nomad bug. I packed my laptop, booked a flight to Thailand, and set off chasing both work and adventure. While I was there, I juggled remote work with teaching English to the locals.

I loved the freedom to travel and work at the same time, but like everyone else, I had to hit pause when COVID came along.

Instead of feeling stuck, I took it as a chance to adapt and grow.

I began exploring finance and sought a way to combine that with business support so I could continue helping businesses remotely. That’s when I found out about virtual bookkeepers.

Through courses, certifications, and hands-on internships, I built a solid foundation in bookkeeping. These skills are what I now use to bring real value to the clients I work with.

I am now a certified Xero Advisor, working with small and growing businesses in Australia to keep their books in tip-top shape.
